Purnam Therapy exists as a space where you can slow down, breathe, and gently rediscover the completeness that has always been yours

I'm Elyse, a licenced counsellor and yoga practitioner specialising in somatic, trauma‑informed approaches for adults. My work is grounded in compassion, social justice, cultural humility, and the belief that healing occurs when we reconnect with the wholeness already within.

I support individuals to reconnect with their body’s wisdom, cultivate steadiness, and move toward empowered change and alignment with your unique goals and values

Above all, I want you to feel deeply understood, accepted, and supported. When we feel safe enough to be ourselves, our nervous systems become more flexible, creative, and capable of healing. From that foundation, meaningful change becomes possible.

I celebrate, honour, and stand committed to protecting the rights of queer, trans, nonbinary, intersex, sex‑working, neurodivergent, and disability‑pride communities, alongside the sovereign cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

I honour the Wathaurong / Wadda wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the land and waterways on which I work, play, and live. I acknowledge the profound cultural knowledge, strength, and sovereignty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As part of my ongoing commitment to solidarity and justice, I Pay the Rent.

I recognise the strength and creativity of queer and neurodivergent people, whose ways of being, sensing, and relating offer profound insight into healing, embodiment, and authenticity. My work is grounded in affirming these identities, honouring difference, and creating therapeutic spaces where every part of a person is welcomed.
